Hosted my Mom for the week at our place in Miami. In case you’re wondering why my Pops didn’t make the trip, he’s doing well and they are still happily married, but unfortunately his travel days at 94 are behind him now. My mother on the hand, is still a young whippersnapper at 92, so we tested out her going on the trip solo escorted by yours truly. In addition to taking a lot of flights, I got to take her to all my favorite hot spots in Miami including my favorite coffee joint Maman below. She got to meet the crew I strength train with every morning cause she wanted to personally thank them for making their son an athlete again. A great trip. I am off to San Diego to attend a wedding and then back to Miami to work on my new dream - building Culinary Oasis. On that note, I didn’t get to reach out to as many of you as I planned to last week, but will do so this coming week.

Key lesson: Time with aging parents is precious; make it an adventure.
