A play in ten scenes — Eric's fable of Barry, a younger version of himself, guided by his heroes. Where the book gave the archive its vocabulary, the play grew out of the archive: the clearest post-to-play lineage runs through Beth Lochtefeld — Eric's best friend, cousin, business partner and mentor, murdered in 2004, documented in seven group posts across 2022–2025 — who appears in Scene 6 with dialogue Eric wrote himself.

The cleanest single transfer: Beth's real book, Tell Me About Your Dreams (documented in the group on April 7, 2025), became the play's climactic refrain — "Tell Em 'Bout the Dream, Barry!" — Eric's own non-italicized adaptation, closing with his "I HAD A DREAM…" ending.

And a documented curation becoming structure: Eric's decades-long devotion to Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist — the book he handed to anyone who might realize their Personal Legend — is why the play's mentor is revealed as Coelho himself. But the play's Personal Legend / "universe conspires" / Soul of the World lines are Coelho's verbatim words (italicized) — curation, not authorship. The distinction matters, and this archive keeps it.

Purpose Code: Maximize Your Joy & Astound Yourself — written with Patrick Combs, Eric's co-author and the friend who once asked him, "What are you most afraid of?" The book is the bridge between the 2006 manuscript's "Dreamer" and the archive's "bliss": the word Dreamer appears zero times in it, replaced by Bliss Champion.

Eric spent 2021–2026 reusing the book's vocabulary in the group — its truest measure of influence. The archive carries its language forward:

• "Goosebumps" / "goosebumps on our souls" — the single most-reused piece of book language, in 43 posts
• "Bliss Journey" — 30 posts; it became his default noun for any major undertaking
• "Bliss Champions" — 44 posts, an ongoing identity
• "Presence Practice" — 40 posts
• "Magic doorways" — 14 posts; in 2024 a muralist painted a literal whimsical magic doorway on the barn/studio entrance

The book's life episodes — Dave the musical genius, Mike Whitlatch, the Fox Theater years, the founding of Bliss Champions, the diabetes episode — are retold across the archive. And yet 82% of the 1,302 writings share no distinctive language or story with either book: four-fifths of the archive is un-booked territory — the Waterfalling saga, the 60-day Paris series, the Hamakua Hotel era, the Health Transformation journey, the Wealth Creation essays, and the entire Ego vs. Soul framework (the word ego appears zero times in Purpose Code).

Before the group, before the two books, there was the manuscript. Written in July 2006 and never published, My Dream Journey runs some 32,000 words. Eric gifted it to the graduates of his University of Dreams summer internship program after his "Never Give Up" speech. It is where the Dreamer vocabulary began, nineteen years before the archive.
