Day 7 of My 21 Day Reset
After a 15 minute cold plunge and half hour walk, I drove an hour to see my good buddy & world-class pain specialist Chris Kidawski. As I alluded to earlier in the week, my day 2 running adventure created some knee pain.
Having experienced the exact same pain in my opposite knee a couple years back, I knew from that situation that there was nothing actually wrong with my knee. Chris verified this just a few minutes into our table session, instead finding three significant adhesions in my fascia in my hamstring, my abductor, and my outer thigh that causing the actual pain. An hour later, I was good as new.
Now that I’m healed from my knee pain episode, I’m gonna ramp up by cardio this week starting with a 45 minute uphill walking session tonight on a treadmill. Later in the week, I’ll do some hit cardio going full out for 30 seconds with 30 seconds rest and doing 10 reps. Both of these exercises will help improve my VO2 max.
I’m excited about the week. This morning I did eight sets of 25 reps of incline bench dumbbells. I started at 30 pounds going up 5 pounds every other set . It was brutal.

Day 7 Results - Weight went slightly up again, but I like what I’m seeing in the mirror. Abs are coming in nicely from the daily ab training. Feeling really healthy!
