Timeless
Same weight. More muscle. Better shape. Better energy.

Last night Lori and I took a brief, scandalous pause from our Michelin-starred gallivanting across the South of France and did something wildly rebellious…

We ordered room service.

😮‍💨

And honestly? It was a nice break!

Then… fate intervened.

We discovered a scale hiding in our bathroom.

Now, I should explain. I intentionally did not buy a scale for our Paris apartment. After a year of religious daily weigh-ins while chasing my weight-loss goals, I wanted a mental break. Mirrors only.

Quick refresher:

I ended 2024 at ~280 lbs.

My 2025 goal was to reach my freshman year of college weight: 200 lbs. I pulled this off by early October, weighing in at 199 lbs! By the day I got on my flight to Paris October 15th, I added a few extra pounds of muscle weighing in at a healthy 203 lbs.

But after ten weeks in France, eating far less regimented than my Miami routine and casually visiting what feels like a dozen Michelin restaurants, curiosity got the best of me.

The mirror has been kind.

The muscles are louder.

My 100 daily sit-ups have clearly been paying rent on my abs. I am also up to 45 push ups now in case you’ve been paying attention, so my chest muscles are popping!

Still… my brain fully expected the scale to say: “Congratulations. You have gained 10–15 pounds of foie gras and baguette.”

So I stepped on.

203 lbs.

Exactly the same weight I was the day I boarded the flight to Paris ten weeks ago.

I’ll be damned.

Same weight.

More muscle.

Better shape.

Better energy.

Turns out consistent weight training actually works even when you don’t eat perfect every day. Who knew? (Besides my trainer and friend Titus Jean who pretty much tells me this every day!) 😉

I’ll take the win. 🥂

Key lesson: Consistent strength training holds weight steady even without perfect eating.

Summary: A bathroom scale in France shows Eric still weighs 203 lbs after ten indulgent weeks.
