Timeless

In case you’re wondering if I am keeping up with my strength training while in Paris while embarking on a culinary journey, the answer is a resounding yes!!!!

I have completed a minimum of three gym lifting sessions per week since arrival and have done a gueling box jump + wind sprints work out weekly with the Eiffel Tower in the foreground.

Today I was a beast in the gym. In case your curious, here was my workout.

Warm Up

- 7 minutes of stretching

- 2 sets of 50 dead bug ab crunches

- 21 consecutive pushups (New PR) + 2 more after 15 second rest

- 90 second plank

- 55 consecutive air squats ( New PR)

Push Day Weight Training for Chess & Arms:

1) Incline Bench

Each set is 45 reps in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 sequence without stopping utilizing single arm on each side, followed by double arm

- 1st @ 22 lbs

- 2nd Set @ 26 lbs

- 3rd Set @ 30 lbs

- Burn out Set @ 22 lbs did 25 reps

2) Lateral Raises

- 1st Set 10 reps @ 4 kilos

- 2nd Set 10 reps @ 6 kilos

- 3rd Set 10 reps @ 8 kilos

- Burn out 4 kilos did 35 reps

3) Tricep Pull Downs w/ Straight Bar

- 1st Set 20 reps @ 50 lbs

- 2nd Set 20 reps @ 60 lbs

- 3rd Set 20 reps @ 70 lbs (10 more reps than last time)

- Burn out set @ 40 lbs did 50 reps (20 more than last time)

Extra - Firemans Carry with 30 kilo (66 lbs) db's for 70 seconds!!!!
