Greetings from Miami. I am enjoying a forty-five day run in one place for the first time in a long while. My plans are to take full advantage of it.
Miami is a special place to live. 90% of days are sunny and gorgeous. Beautiful water views nearly every direction. Entertainment is always readily available with five professional sports teams and touring acts performing nightly.
We live in a part of Miami where you can attain everything you need within walking distance. I rarely use our car and don’t miss driving one bit. The best part of this trade off, is that I get exercise every day.
The restaurant scene in Miami is ridiculously good. If you are a world-class chef, chances are you have a spot here. Lori and I discover a new restaurant every week that becomes a new favorite.
I have no idea how long we will choose to live here, but I am excited to continue to see all that this city has to offer.
Below are some photos of our hi-rise. They include an aerial, the view from our balcony, our pool, and bath house. Hi-rise living is not for everyone, but these amenities sure do make it pleasurable.
