DO SOMETHING CRAZY: Part 5 of 5
Thank you for reading the first four parts of this series. I chose to write each story of reinvention from a perspective of asset acquisition to keep things interesting. Doing it in reverse order was for my fun!
As you know by now, I just as easily could have shared my stories from a perspective of bliss, but sometimes the entrepreneur in me likes to have a voice too.
It was a stroll down memory lane but it had a much bigger purpose for me. My goal was to get to part 5 today so I could share my next reinvention when I turn 53 later this year.
But first, a quick review of my past reinventions:
————————————————————-
At 25, my soul desired to become a world-class Event Producer. The entrepreneur in me stepped up to co-produce over 200 music festival concerts in 50 states and two foreign countries in less than five years.
At 29, my soul desired to help college students discover and pursue their Dreams. Over the next twelve years, the entrepreneur in me built a global company that did exactly, operating in over fifteen cities around the globe and inspiring over 10,000 college students to chase their dreams.
At 39, my soul desired to own and operate a historic live performance theater. I went on to buy two such theaters and produce over one thousand live events for over one million people.
At 47, my soul desired to rediscover my joy. The entrepreneur in me asked my soul what brings me the most joy, and listened. It then went on to create a company that would deliver on all of them. A retreat/coaching business was born, which lead to twenty transformational retreats and over 200 served by our company Bliss Champions. This led to ownership of a beautiful retreat property/home in Hawaii and a gorgeous second property nearby plus another 20+ retreats.
—————————————————————
Today, my soul has a new desire. Two in fact! One is going to need the entrepreneur in me to step up one more time. The second may require some support from the Universe.
They are the two precious desires I have yet to experience on my life thus far. Both have alluded me for over fifty-tour years.
One, I desire health and wellness.
Two, I desire to become a father.
Both of these desires will be challenging. Time will tell which one will be the hardest or most rewarding. No bun already in the oven by the way!
One could even take a look at my life today, and think that I must be crazy to want to become a Dad in my 50’s. If you think I’m scared of crazy though, you missed the point of this whole series.
Crazy is my North Star.
What crazy adventure does your soul desire?
