These two photos hold great emotional significance to me as both a real estate investor and Dreamer. They were life changing moments.
The first one was taken by Lori the day we got the keys to our first commercial real estate purchase, the Fox Theater in Redwood City, California. I could not have been more excited by our accomplishment, AND to get started. I cannot remember ever feeling more alive from a business venture than in that moment.
The second photo was also taken by Lori. It was my very first morning spent at the property that we would acquire and rename Bliss Island. The sunrise was so beautiful I wanted to be as close to it as possible so I walked out to the cliff’s edge. Lori caught the moment from our future bedroom. In that moment, I had never been more in touch with my soul. I felt pure gratitude and joy. It was the day I decided to go forward with the acquisition. I think I set a personal best for goosebumps in one day.
