Over the past few weeks I’ve been sharing pieces of something new I’m building called Culinary Oasis.
What’s been interesting is how quickly things have started to move behind the scenes.
Some of that was expected. Some of it wasn’t.
And over the last few days, I’ve had a number of conversations, some planned, some completely unexpected, with people who reached out after following along.
What I’ve enjoyed most is that the conversations haven’t really been about numbers. They’ve been about experiences.
Places people want to go. How they want to spend their time. Who they want to share those moments with. That’s when I know something is resonating.
At the same time, we’re making real progress on the ground. Advancing conversations on properties. Refining how the first group comes together. Spending time thinking through how to do this the right way from the start. There’s a lot happening.
There’s a moment in every venture where things quietly shift. It goes from being an idea to something that has its own momentum. That’s where this is now.
I’m being very thoughtful about how this first group comes together. Not in a restrictive way, but in an intentional one. Because who you build something with matters just as much as what you build.
And there’s always a phase like this, where some people simply enjoy watching the story unfold and others start to see themselves inside of it.
I’ve come to recognize that moment when it shows up. It’s one of my favorite parts of the journey.
