Day 6 of 60 | Bonjour, Paris! 🇫🇷✨
And on the 6th day… leg day was required.
For those of you who lift, you know leg day is no joke. It’s sacred. It’s savage. It’s non-negotiable. Even in Paris. I walked into the gym with a skip in my step and left wondering if I’d make the 20-minute walk home without having to crawl. Hrrrr!
Also on the 6th day… we discovered our best coffee yet.
A tiny spot called Constant. (Yes, with a period. Very Parisian.) It’s just a five-minute stroll from the Eiffel Tower, perfect for a post-selfie caffeine boost. The coffee? So smooth I genuinely wondered if I’d been drinking it wrong my whole life. And the barista? Très sympathique. Five stars, zero regrets. Bookmark it.
And yes, on the 6th day… my companies required work.
For the first time since arriving, I had to unpack my laptop and check in with a few of my companies. I’ve gotta say, it’s been an incredible gift to go a whole week without opening a computer (unless you count this phone… and Lori’s smartphone… and my iPad, iPods and iWatch, well, let’s not get distracted).
Moral of the story: Whether it’s leg day, latte day, or login day, every day can be an adventure, especially when you’re willing to show up, sweat a little, sip something new, and stay present (even if briefly staring at a screen).
À bientôt from Paris. 🇫🇷💪☕️💻
