Worked out the kinks that caused the dull aches on the backside of my body. Got some deep fascia work from my fasting guide Chris and walla, good as new.
Completed five laps and my tenth full day of my water fast yesterday! Only 30 laps and 30 days to go! To date I have lost 25 pounds, nearly all of it in my stomach. I started at 270.8 lbs. and I am now 245.8 lbs. exactly. My legs look the best they have since my sports playing days in college and my face has trimmed up noticeably. My hair and skin feel different to the touch in a good way. Finally, I have reduced my chest and stomach size a full two inches. Not too shabby for ten days!
I am not sharing my results to brag. I am sharing them to inspire. Huge difference. As I vigorously debated in my posts last week, I sense that people are more inspired by momentum and results than how hard something is.
However, I realize that my opinion is not shared by all, so I will share the hard parts of water fasting so you can be the judge on what inspires you to do something or not.
The worst part of the fast so far was the four hours after I did a colonic to clear out the bad stuff residing in my colon. I felt like crap (pun intended) for the rest of the day. I was more or less couch ridden. My stomach felt like it had been pummeled by Mike Tyson in his prime. My pooper was in a confused state sending me running to the toilet every fifteen minues. 💩
Every day I have cotton mouth. My taste buds miss flavor way more than they miss food. Their highlight each day comes when I brush my teeth and they get to enjoy an explosion of flavor.
I spend a significant portion of each day resting on my couch. After I expend energy my body becomes exhausted and needs to rest. The most I seem to be able to do activity wise without rest is three hours. This photo is of me resting in my go to spot.
Finally, the last three nights my sleep was disturbed due to my aching muscles as described in my post yesterday. But that has now been addressed.
Whether you become inspired by my wins or by my struggles, I am happy for you. This brings me joy!
