You ever witness a moonrise? It is a reverse sunset where the moon rises out of the ocean on the horizon. One occurs five nights per month and is always viewable from our lanai where we host dinners and happy hours at Hamakua Hotel. Our guests this week lucked out with an epic series of nightly moonrises. I took these photos on Tuesday evening with my iPhone. My night photography skills leave something to be desired so it doesn’t even come close to doing it justice. So beautiful.
