The Universe has been sending me some not so subtle signs this New Year. It’s not playing around this time. It really wants me to commit to the new Bliss Journey my Soul is inviting me to go on!
Most people go through life never noticing, or outright ignoring, such signs from the Universe. Fortunately, I’m not one of them. I’ve been a Dreamer for quite some time now, so I actually see their existence as fact. More science than fiction.
They are usually subtle though. The Universe typically wants you to have to pay attention to receive them. Well, not this year apparently. It’s using physical pain as its primary Messenger to make certain that it has my attention!
For about three weeks now, I have been unable to walk normally. My left leg is severely hobbled. When I get up and try to walk, my first two steps deliver “take my breath away” searing pain. I’ve met with many experts who can’t seem to agree on the root cause. I’m getting an MRI tomorrow to rule out any tears. While it remains an unsolved mystery, what is real is the intense pain!
Interesting enough, this injury has been so debilitating that my only real option is to stay home and write. If you read my New Year’s resolution post, you may remember that this is one of two things that brings me the most joy. The other is inspiring people. I often combine the two, as I’m doing now.
In this state, I’ve written more in the first nine days of 2024 than I did all last month. I’m hoping that once I make a commitment and jump through the Magic Doorway my Soul and Universe, and now my best friend Patrick Combs is conspiring on, that whomever is in charge of this crippling knee pain will release the pressure it’s putting on me and let me get to it!
