Tewnty-four hours into my first live Eckhart Tolle retreat experience. I am on a short break so not enough time for a download of the wisdom I have learned thus far. But, I will say this. Eckhart Tolle is super funny. He would be amazing at stand-up comedy.
His best joke thus far was: “Life is a like a sexually transmitted disease with a fatal outcome.”
In the context of how much unnecessary pain and suffering we put ourselves through from our thoughts, hard to argue with the meaning behind this joke.
