I avoid re-quoting the wise words of others because I much prefer absorbing the learnings and carefully choosing which ones I invite into my own beliefs and values. The original words dissipate but the teachings become ingrained and practiced. But today I heard words that are already hard wired into my soul, so it really doesn’t mater where I heard them or who said them because they represent the universal mindset of every Dreamer. After reading them, you will know whether you are a Dreamer, or perhaps not yet, by whether they resonate and give you goosebumps. Enjoy!
Dreamer says to Disbeliever, “Any time people venture into the unknown, there is a cost. No frontier is safe. Not finishing what I was meant to do is worse than death. All the people who doubted me, investors, professors, politicians, journalists, they all say the same thing, I’ll believe it when I see it. But that’s backwards. Belief comes first. Only then can you see it.” Disbeliever responds, “I don’t believe in fiction.” Dreamer responds, “I’m asking you to use your imagination.”
