Thank you for the opportunity this group gave me to do some inspirational writing this morning. I hope it inspires some of you to begin a journey. When I become inspired and take action, I become joyful and grateful. And when I become grateful, I become generous. So I am going to start a tradition in this group that I hope all of you will get excited to participate in over time. We will call it “Inspiration Gifts”.
The Pandemic has been a tough ride for many. An act of kindness and inspiration can be the difference maker to take a person from the cliffs edge to normalcy again. This may allow a person to be open to becoming inspired again and thus, capable of re-starting their lives.
Lori and I are blessed to have two beautiful properties in paradise vacation locations. We are willing to gift a spot in one of our ten retreats in 2022 to a friend or family member that you feel deserves to have their spirits lifted. All they need is a flight (maybe gifted by you) and we will take care of the rest.
Here is the catch for this particular gift. It cannot be you. As one of The Inspired in this world, it should be a goal of ours to lead others to this cherished place. So, how do we get someone other than ourselves to be considered for this particular Inspiration Gift? By nominating them.
How to Nominate
Write a post in this group about a person you would like to be considered. Please state their name and attach a photo of them. Tell us what you love about this person and why you feel they deserve to be considered. I will then pick the winner. Here is a tip. I use to have a quote under my email signature for years. It read, “Win my heart and you will gain access to my treasures.” Inspire us all. I welcome comments by all on each submission but please leave the selection to me. The giver gets to choose the winner.
